The Blend Institute is a non-profit civil association affiliated with the Blend Group. Its operations encompass the management of catalytic resources, adhering to the highest standards of transparency and compliance, and conducting knowledge production processes, research, and advocacy in sustainable finance. Through the Blend Institute, we lead multistakeholder processes to co-create sustainable development financing solutions, establishing conditions for large-scale capital mobilization with institutional stability, legal security, and significant impact.

 

The Blend Institute has successfully executed projects and participated in initiatives with notable organizations such as the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), UN-Habitat, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Andean Development Corporation (CAF), and the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services (MDIC), among others.

Through scientific studies, research, and the production of technical information, we seek to identify and promote effective solutions to the challenges of mobilizing capital for sustainable development. Our activities include conducting in-depth research, analyzing global trends, developing innovative financial models, and publishing reports and articles that disseminate relevant technical and scientific knowledge.

 

• Advocacy and International Engagement

The Blend Institute proactively promotes public and private initiatives that support sustainable financing on a global level. Through strategic advocacy, we aim to influence policymakers, financial institutions, and international organizations to adopt practices and regulations that promote environmental sustainability and social justice. Our work includes participating in international forums, collaborating with multilateral organizations, and developing multi-stakeholder dialogues and engagement with various actors to foster an environment conducive to the mobilization of capital for sustainable projects.
